Writing a transcript for a mini documentary/intro Im making for a series. Its a complete nightmare thinking up a script, my mind goes on instant writers block.

If it doesnt get block, then I end up getting far away from the point or not bringing anything to the table.

Anyone got any tips?

@DatTux nothing especially original: keep it simple & consider the core concept & build out from there considering the idea(s) you wish to convey & how they might interconnect. Sometimes I find it helps if I've already written a thesis that I can then use as the foundation for further exploration.

@nomad Yeah Im thinking of breaking my topic down into little segments and reading articles about them and writing mini thesis's on them and then combining all my findings into a transcript...

Right now Im working off a PDF I found about conducting a radio interview, seems to be going well bu we'l see what the final product is like...

@DatTux yeah I think breaking the topics down is helpful especially if certain topics are complex & need careful consideration. All the best with it :)
@nomad Thanks man! I hope I can manage to make a coherant production by the end of it... The vision in my head is so exciting!! Itd be tragic to not try and get it out my head and into some sort of consumable content

@DatTux
Top-down development.
Make an outline, subdivide and ramify it, and then flesh it out, no more than one paragraph per outline item.

Then, edit it down.
