I'm gonna put a few hints that made mastodon work for me when I figured them out, so I'm gonna put this under #introductions and #tips

1. Public timeline is more like a chatroom
2. Better to overuse CW than underuse
3. politics go in cw
4. share your work! There's tons of good tags for all sorts of stuff
5. We all have the public timeline, we know people see it, don't be afraid to talk to people or fav a random toot
6. Follow @Gargon he runs this place and does a good job

@dboyfajardo I get a null error on Amaroq for Gargon. Do you think it's a mistake or maybe that is how it shows for unlisted accounts?

@b_cavello (I'm just trying out amaroq because mastodon is homebrew enough that the desktop is always gonna be the better experience for the near future at least, but its nice to have something to casually check the tl with)
