So, possible 'hot take' here -

-NOBODY- looks good in the 'Reality Winner' case.

The Intercept was extremely careless with how they handled the material they were given.

Reality herself is apparently so utterly inept it's astonishing that she was able to get the document in the first place.

And the counterintel that managed to finally catch her? THEY are also inept; she -sucks- and she -still- managed to get the document out.

Seriously. She googled all kinds of red-flag type stuff. She used her own creds to access documents she had no business touching. She went looking at suspicious locations on her work computer.

And nobody apparently bothered monitoring any of this until they got contact from the outside about a document that was running around loose?

That is some -terrible- security when the stereotypical dumb blonde manages to outwit you long enough to succeed.

So yeah. Everyone in this case is just....stupid. Top to bottom.
@munin ...and it's one of the organisations trusted with access to the biggest collections of intelligence secrets and personal data ever.
@munin You'd think they'd be in high paranoia mode still. The whole thing is weird.
