@zacts There is Wine on Linux for which you can run FL Studio 11. There is also LMMS which should work with most FL Studio files / MIDI keyboards.
@mitchell @zacts don't forget the ms-corefonts package for FL Studio + wine, otherwise you won't see fonts in menus and whatnot
@chu @zacts On the latest wine-dev this shouldn't be an issue as it should have a detected patch. However don't quote on that :P
@mitchell yes, no quote as that is incorrect.. latest wine-devel won't install corefonts for you @zacts
@chu @zacts @mitchell If you want corefonts, I think you can use winetricks for that.
@archaeme @mitchell @zacts just be sure with winetricks that you select the correct wine prefix where your FL Studio is installed.. it will choose the default wine prefix (i.e. ~/.wine) unless you call winetricks like "WINEPREFIX=~/.flstudio-prefix winetricks". Also winetricks is a bitch on 64-bit prefixes, so use "WINEARCH=win32" also
@chu @archaeme @zacts Latest version of winetricks and wine fix the issues with 64-bit prefixes too. ;) too bad you use a distro like debian. ;)
@mitchell I'm using latest devel wine.. if you have ANY sort of reading comprehension skills you'd have seen that already ;) @archaeme @zacts
@chu @archaeme @zacts But you aren't using the latest... Latest devel released 5 hours ago....
