He wasn’t necessarily passing judgment on the conlang or the conlanger (in fact, I gather he’s a fan of Toki Pona); he was merely pointing out in what ways the conlangs did or did not use semantic primes in a useful or logical or regular way. Sai might have safely done the same with other visual conlangs without igniting any flames.
