I generally like my bank, but they do this baffling thing with rewards points where gift cards are somehow more expensive than the equivalent amount of cash back. For 14,000 points you can get $140 cash or a $100 gift card to any supported retailer. Is there some weird reason why it has to work like that?
@casey from what I understand, rewards points are not really logical in terms of value, it's more about incentivizing the user to spend with the idea of a reward & it's up to the user to figure out what the best value reward is
