Because I trust you folks more than I trust the hordes on Birdsuite, you guys got any suggestions for my first foray into writing about my life in Mexico?

Seems like Medium is the mid point on the corporate creepiness scale that starts with Facebook and ends with Mastodon. (But it's easier than running Wordpress, exposure, metrics, yadda yadda).
@nickfarr I saw some essay excerpts here and I liked it. Actually your story could be a nice fit since paragraphs are a bit self-contained and on the other hand one piece may make you want more.
My intention is not to boast a stallmanic critique of Medium users only just a little sigh.
At least we do not chat on the birdsite now, that's progress!
@nickfarr I like the notion of 'taco batch'. It also reminds the reader of how far they are from it.

The concept I'm trying to get at with aspirational and largesse is quite complicated...
