So today was the first time I've ever been paid using Interac, and it felt really cool and mysterious. I got a text from a number I didn't recognize, containing a phrase I did. Then I got an email saying "[boss's name] has sent you money. Click here to deposit it." And the phrase was the password to actually get the money.

I was reading an old #crpgaddict article at the time and it felt like I was solving a puzzle in a video game.

Welp. Time to save my boss's phone number & take the magic out
