Is there a page with a list, which data is available on #openstreetmaps and how I can access this data?

More detailed I'd like to know if there are for example different categories about restaurants, hotels, shops and so on including their coordinates of course?

Here's for example a list of the features which can be tagged in the maps: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Map_Features

Does anybody know if there is also a more detailed information? OSM would give me information about the general object, for example which kind is it, a pub, bar or restaurant. Do you know if there are also even more details, which kind of pub it is, for example a Irish pub or more classical pub, so categories?

@matl if you drill down a bit, you will find for all tags their default details... E.g. for the amenity 'Pub'
