I have fond memories of listening to Never Mind the Ballots in my boyfriend's bedroom in '87. I still find myself singing "Unilever. Washes whiter. Soap in your eyes..."

Then out of the blue came this song that never stopped playing and I was proud of this band and shocked because it was nothing like the band I remembered.

I should listen again, but I have my current obsessions. So much music.

@Fritillaria some of their older stuff (including never mind the ballots) is on bandcamp and I've been streaming it while I work. It helped make yesterday much more bearable.
