@shel nope! that's expected and normal for how federation works, though, especially if you get @'d.

@shel Did it never use to let you follow?

I tested it pretty recently and I've been able to follow accounts just fine. I thought it always blocked you bc of suspension, but apparently not.

(This was publicized on a.s a couple weeks ago)

@vahnj I used to get an error when I attempted to follow it interact with a.s. now it basically acts like we're unblocked except that everyone ignores me :P
