@Mycroft it's really bad, the rest of the laptop is apparently built very well but the mouse is a bit wacky, it's just a conductive strip with a brush inside which uses the changing resistance to measure the distance of the mouse from the laptop. it wears out after just a few years, and also is shitty to use! i guess people that still own these prefer to just use MS-DOS anyway

They'd re trying to figure out the best way to get it to not waste a bunch of ram space on windows shit.

@ajroach42 @Mycroft im thinking about getting one, replacing the screen with a modern high-res one, and ripping out the insides and putting a raspberry pi in it

@jk @Mycroft I think about doing something of this nature nearly every day.

Recently, I've been trying to figure out a way to make a raspberry pi 0 work inside of an HP 200 LX body (or something close enough.)

I like handhelds and full keyboards.
