@Geomenke good to know! We ended up not staying there (IIRC they were all booked up), but it's a gorgeous area anyway.

@sarasomewhere yeah you totally have to put it into 4 low near the end. The host is super friendly. Views are just awesome. Feels like you're flying

@Geomenke if you drove & can afford a slight detour, this is one of our favorite stretches of road in the US (so far):

(the first mile or so is hairy switchbacks, but worth it if you can tolerate that!)
