"Cliché" and "Stereotype" both have their roots in printing. "Cliché" an onomatopoetic word based on the noise when a printblock squished and clicked against paper. A stereotype is the secondary or copied printblock used in printing instead of the original type-set.

Although that is kinda fun, what is really fun is that "Flong" is what you did when you created a stereotype. "Flong" admit it, its a fun word.
