I just wish that these stories had come earlier in Capaldi's run as the Doctor.

@clickybang I think you're right on that theory. This is the best the show has been for a while, and I haven't enjoyed it this much in ages. I'm actually looking forward to watching it now, as opposed to 'I'll watch it on catch-up later'.
@Chaffinch I skipped the entire Clara era, after the whole mishmash of Pond timey-wimey stuff got too much. This new season feels like a revival in all the good ways.
@clickybang I wish I'd skipped that era, too. Some part of me kept watching, thinking 'it's going to get better, right?' after every episode.

Bill's still growing on me but I'm grateful to be in the post-Clara era. Unfortunately for my US-residing self, I must wait until Sunday to watch. 😢

I like Bill, but I'm another one who wasn't a fan of Clara. I just hope that they don't bring her back too much from now on, if at all.
