curious on the anti-abuse standards part as well tho
@bea the anti-abuse bit it like... the current mastodon admin chat (I believe) doesn't allow the admins of sealion.club, but does allow Milan.
A higher anti-abuse standard would block Milan from the admin chat

@cyrinsong right, yeah i mean definitely i think the goal for a good part of today was ahem, motivating and enabling his reform.
i guess the only downside i see to having a room with tighter standards is that i'd still feel obligated to be in the other room? (to be able to do my job as admin) my opinions are not very well formed yet. good stuff to think about
@bea yea I could see feeling obligated to be in both rooms, especially at first
ideally though, it reaches a point where the things that make a channel "must join" are also present in the new room
