why is it that much harder to find decent people on the internet

@andlabs Many of the so called hate speech/free speech GNU Social are chill. Not many go about calling folks names for their race. The real screaming matches come from flat vs. udders. tl;dr just because they allow everything doesn't mean everyone yells slurs at each other and sow discord.
@StarLust of course, and I'm not going to condemn anyone in particular, especially since the other other side has its own share of guilty seeds
it's just that in our situation, the wars between vocal minorities affect everyone :S
