I found myself rolling onto mastodon to pick up the fragments of what I consider to be an ugly instance of harassment directed against a woman on this site. I am glad that @milan has in some way withdrawn and apologised for his comments. @[email protected] seems like someone who is more committed to being unpleasant.

I hope we can all learn that insulting comments about people on this site–their bodies, their visibility, their health, their sexuality, are not acceptable.

Other people on this network are also people. They are not here for consumption, snide implications, or harassment. This goes especially for women & POC.

We don't get to decide when our behaviour is harassment. If you are told to stop, to back of–DO.

This is tiring even to see. I can't imagine how exhausting it is to deal with, day on day. This is not what I want this site to represent. Being a usable platform means being usable for women. Without abuse or insults. #noharassment
