@maiyannah @Gargron I agree with @Gargron, the original software knows better.
However, I am adding a parameter to get a post content in HTML (default), Markdown and plain text.
If I don't add this, the end users may have issues trying to make bots interact with user input.

@naccib The most important stuff out of user input in posts is given along separately in the API in the form of media_attachments array and mentions array on the status object
