an Objective Reality might exist, but that's not the world we as people actually live in. The universe we experience is built inside our heads, out of mental language and implicit metaphor resulting from eons of evolution.

Our stories and narratives are important. Our metaphors shape our reality. Subjectivity matters.

And, if we want, our reality can be sculpted.

@indi the work issue is metal conducting electricity and/or being a too-good thermal conductor and causing burns if there's an arc.

@indi Pretty affordable in steel, kinda pricey in silver. About what I'd expect from shapeways. I'll definitely consider it :)

@starkatt I like to think of objective reality as a way to measure my subjective view of the world

the problem I have with objective reality is that most people automatically give it validity, and think it invalidates subjective reality

(this is stuff I think about way too much sometimes)
