@Irick a handful of bros go on a lazy trip (with a dog) from Kingston to Oxford and back. It's alright, and funny. Fast forward to now, and C. Willis' follow-up works similar ground but is now about visiting distant pasts
@parkr To Say Nothing of the Dog is great. Super weird tonal shift coming from The Doomsday Book though.
@Irick that's totally right. For this guy, a low point of that batch of books. But lots of folks think it's ultra good, so who knows. I'm a big fan of Blackout/All &c.
