dr. Sybren@stephenthomas0 I've never started using WhatsApp. Signal is my preferred IM. There has never been a single IM to reach everybody, so I don't see why people can't just install something else next to WhatsApp. If they can install WhatsApp, then can install Signal too.
Chris Offner@sybren @stephenthomas0 Especially since Signal can also serve as an SMS app. So for those people who don't use Signal, you can use it to send SMS, and for the ones who do have Signal, you can send encrypted Signal messages.
