VevaSo, I'm trying this #WoollyWeek stuff and frankly, I don't like it. Not enough interaction on Mastodon for my taste.
der_jeff@VevaDan not sure. I'm on another non-mastodon network which is much more interactive. The problem there is that it's very small and very geeky. I don't mind the geeky bit because I am one, but sometimes I want to talk about other stuff. Or just mess about and have a laugh. It seems like people are taking the "Twitter" attitude here which makes me sad. I'm on twitter as well but haven't logged in for months because it just seems like a hate machine right now.
@der_jeff Oh, I haven't felt a Twitter attitude here yet. Just find it hard to connect with people. The hate you mention, I can't relate. I have a lock on my Twitter and a very good filter 'who to follow'. But I felt like I was staying in my 'internet bubble' and want to break out of it. That's why I love Mastodon. The timeline immediatly gives you interesting folk to read. But also a lot of clutter. I can't see past the clutter yet. And that makes me sad.
