@vanwas I haven't decided yet, which model I want to take. I need to talk to my dealer to decide what's the best for my purposes. Fact is, that I need a translation which is good for climbing mountains (we have some of them, 800 height meters within a 28 kms tour are common). I also frequently ride at bike parks without shuttles, so a easy translation to climb uphill is a must.
@thbonk Nice! I'm sticking with my 2x11.. until it breaks. I've been eyeing the Sram Eagle ($$$) or even the Box One system as a replacement... but not necessarily an upgrade as it currently works well. For some reason, the model year of my bike has Sram on the front and Shimano in the back. Seems to work well though.
Curious to know what you go with and how you like it.
@vanwas i went to my bike dealer of choice yesterday. i thought about a sram xx1 1x12, but i would've required a new rim, which would have a price of about 1500€ all in. 😬he adviced me to go for a gx/xx1 mix of components
