@ITSecurity How would you guarantee that remote nodes respect your edits?
This is one of those potential UX traps where if you have the button you risk 'tricking' the user into believing it's dependable, and then eventually they'll end up mad when an instance disregards federated edits for philosophical reasons.
@Rtzq0 Yeah, I can see the potential for issues. I'm curious how remote nodes respect deletes...
@ITSecurity I kinda hate the delete button for same reasons. Users that are not highly technical will think that it works infallibly when it is in fact worse than the delete button on twitter.
