#Plastc swiped $9 million from backers and just completely vanished

The company raised more than $9 million through preorders, and today, after shipping to no backers, the company said it’s planning to file for bankruptcy and will shut down.

I did say in my post back in Oct 2014 at https://plus.google.com/u/0/+DanievanderMerwe/posts/aBB6LqbyUjY that this was an outdated technology and the world had moved on....

@danie10 One of the inherent and accepted risks of crowd funding. You're right though, outdated tech. I use my phone as much as possible these days and get annoyed when a merchant doesn't accept Android Pay.
