XangisI'm just now hearing about this, but apparently #rosewood and #bubinga are restricted/vulnerable species as of this year. Every guitar/bass I own has a rosewood fingerboard, and my favorite bass has a multi-wood body that includes bubinga. Must be weird times for the industry, but maybe we'll see some interesting materials innovation.
Zoe Landon@Xangis see, I'm a lame drummer, I never really give much thought to materials. But yeah, maybe we'll see more plastic and esoteric materials (stone guitars?)
