@ashoka Is there any evidence that it's actually hoax? The arguments for #PizzaGate are overwhelming.

I've seen one video of a guy who claims to has "debunked" PizzaGate just by saying it's a CIA setup. So basically he makes out of a conspiracy an even larger conspiracy to chill people down.

@richardbaeck the lack of evidence is the greatest sign, the fact that no victims or insiders are coming forward, which usually happens with these scandals. if you want a true pedophilia scandal to latch onto, try anonymous' #OpDeatheaters.
It's been debunked by Snopes, the NYT and the police.
first and loudest proponents are anti-dems, and it all started with a tweet from an alt-right account that got popular on 4chan.

@ashoka I didn't state that I am right. I stated that the evidence for it are overwhelming (see Youtube videos). I welcome any statement that it clearly debunks the entire discussion about #PizzaGate other than "yea, he received death threats".

@ashoka Thanks for the article. So, I am not sure if I have actually understood the article: they found out that the guy on #Infowars lied and that's their main argument besides the #NewYorkTimes article that #PizzaGate is a lie?

The argument with the fake pic from a random website is actually interesting. So I give you that. Nevertheless Alefantis had creepy images his #Instagram account.

@richardbaeck also don't forget that some alleged instagram images came can be traced to other sources, it's mentioned in the snopes articles.
also i would be remis to mention that infowars is a conspiracy website that peddles stuff like chemtrails, fluoride poisoning and obama is a secret muslim.

@ashoka One fact left: one of #JohnPodesta's close friends is a convicted pedophile. So in conjunction with your statement I agree with you that it is a #conspiracytheory, because we have insufficient evidence (victims etc.). But the coincidences are really weird. #Infowars can't be taken 100 % serious but can't be ignored either.

In any way shooting up place because there are many coincidences is totally wrong (even when they are convicted it would be wrong). But it shouldn't stop people looking into this stuff.

@richardbaeck this doesn't justify suspicion of several pizza places that the guy once visited, as i said, politicians have visited almost every restaurant in DC.
and yes, infowars can be inored because there are many, many other outlets.
the fact that they publish and never retract conspiracy theories makes everything they say questionable, so it has to be confirmed with other sources.

@ashoka You only claimed that it's some sort of weirdo symbolism over-interpretation in the same league of "illuminati confirmed", added that a person that showed up on #Infowars exaggerated/lied (that's actually foul play) and that Alefantis denies everything. Which are all true. But you can't proof that it's wrong as #4chan and #reddit can't proof that it's true. So it will remain in the state of a #conspiracytheory and I am still not satisfied that it's a hoax and can't be trusted anyhow.

But for you (and many others) it's just made up nonsense, which is perfectly ok for me, because it could really be the case! For me this story isn't impossible.
