@7sharp9 sure, but I'd expect people (especially software developers) to learn and think... For how many years situation haven't changed? When MSFT shown any commitment to F# to ever hope that they will fix things?

We should be happy that MSFT is at least not fighting with community - that Phillip is trying to push this "MSFT is unblocking Community" idea, that stuff like Ionide and Paket are mentioned in official docs. We won't get more from them anytime soon

@k_cieslak One of the most important things for a software developer, or rather one of the things that I think is important for a software developer is to stay curious. Most of the people that I know and respect open things up, tweak and learn. I think the hacker mindset is a dwindling quality in a developer, most want everything handed to them on a plate.
