hi all! i have a thing to share with you! my new instance is ready and it is a little different...

toots on this instance are ephemeral; they disappear after a while (between 5 minutes and an hour) depending on the current phase of the moon.

@ZackF lol i think i need to write a FAQ that contains only this question

when you delete a toot it is removed from your instance and your instance sends messages to the ones it federates with notifying them of the deletion so that they can delete it as well. whether or not they DO delete it is up to them, so we can't guarantee that remote copies of the toot are delete, just state that they should be.
