god i've done zero work last week. nothing. i've barely even cooked. it's all grandma
instead of that, i'm considering doing new vegas again since apparently i start a run every december and abandon it around boulder city
christmas is roguelike time for me bc that was the only thing to do when i was visiting my parents during The Hell Years while waiting for the afternoon to get drunk with my pal who was also visiting at the time
that's not a pretty sentence
@unhaunting do the thing where you take the shortcut to new vegas!
@yatchi i've done that once before, it's just a lot of saving and loading and using your one stealth boy to sneak thru the pass
@unhaunting i never had to do any of that, i just ran past the radscorps
@yatchi what about the deathclaws and the cazadores
@unhaunting the way i did it i went to goodsprings cemetary and ran due northeast, and then past sloan i think you can just hug the right wall to get past the deathclaws. maybe you have to have high agi to do it idk
@yatchi oh no there's another way and that's the one i took, you circle completely around quarry junction, via the tribal village. it can be easier or harder depending on how the 'claws spawn on either path
@unhaunting ooh yeah that does sound difficult! i think going NE from the cemetery gives you at least three options, sloan, scorpion gulch, and black mountain. at one of them you can find a dead ncr guy so you can take his uniform and use the monorail
@yatchi i should try the others but i honestly kinda like going the long way around. getting to nipton is probably the best scene in the game
@unhaunting totally. i love how there's so many options for how to do a new vegas run
@yatchi there's a guy on youtube who did it on permadeath rules, single health bar, no healing, no radaway. it gets pretty intense towards the end
@unhaunting new vegas would be the game to pull that off in!
