@Monkeymind Thank you so much! I set my camera up on my tripod with a 14mm lens, set my ISO to 6400, and shot at f 2.8 for 30 seconds. You use the "500 rule" to calculate the maximum number of seconds you can expose for before you start to get star trails. It's 500 divided by the focal length of your lens.
