*old account* Em BurrowsEntered a limited words writing contest in another corner of the internet last night. There's no doubt that I'm anything other than an also-ran, but it's nice to exercise my creativity every once in a while.
Alexander Bentley@LittleOwl congrats on taking the steps to enter the contest. I normally don't enter contests, but decided for a prestigious poetry award this year (which I didn't win). It felt good to enter; sounds like you exercised your creativity well.

Even entering a prestigious poetry award is a big thing, though - so well done! I'm not sure I'd be able to.:slight_smile:
@LittleOwl thanks and you're welcome. It was crazy, I submitted last minute. Decided 3 days before the deadline and was rushing to compile a number of poems that fit a theme. The manuscript needed to have a minimum of 50 pages, which is basically one poem per page.
@abentleywrites Oh wow, that sounds tough! I'm not sure I'd have been able to do even five poems in three days, let alone fifty (and I couldn't even guess at the quality of them).

@LittleOwl thank you, luckily I've built up a large collection of poems...but it was difficult to select and decide which order. I had no life for those few days! Lol
