My 3¢ impressions:

1. Mastodon's 500 char limit feels refreshing—like an unbuckling of the belt after Thanksgiving dinner—more room to express

2. The lower # of users allows for conversations to feel more authentic & meaningful—but will it become like the unwieldy Twitter firehose as Mastodon's userbase grows?

I have more thoughts that need to distill. I look forward to catching the show later on.
