@pat @nolan It's a bit like having multiple email addresses. Sure, you get to read the others local timeline but I do hope that functionality comes anyway. Now the API is open at least so you can create an app for doing it.

@writeosahon my selfish hope was that they would become so overloaded with new members that folks would have to come here, but turns out @Alda is basically the most legendary admin of all time, so they are having zero scaling problems

@nolan I don't know if I'm a 'cool people', but I can see a lot of the crowd I'd like to hang with are on toot.cafe (web dev, Microsoft, general techie/science, engaged conversation and nice peeps). I'd love to join the community - hanging out for you to open up registrations 😊
