#Coffee #tip: My latest #buzz has been #colddrip. It's usually a bit expensive to get into, unless you go the trashy-hack approach with a cut-up water bottle (which I did last year).

https://www.beanground.com/cold-brew-aeropress/

However, I recently found Dripster, which is 50€ (instead of a set-up that's ≥250€).

And with the cold drip and warmer weather, I've also been enjoying coffee + tonic (which is like gin + tonic, but with coffee as the drug).

☕😄

@garrett Does it take filters the same diameter as the Aeropress?

Cause otherwise filter breaking might be annoying with that...

@Spider it doesn't take filters — the mesh is built-in

that said, the width is a little smaller than the Aeropress filters (I've tried using one at the top to distribute the drip across the top, but had to fold it over a few times to trim it slightly) — meaning, if it broke, if you could safely (food-wise, that is) affix an able filter, it probably could work as a do-your-own-fix

@garrett

Tempting, sorely tempting indeed. While not as pretty as many others, it's affordable.

@Spider — Yeah! the "cheapness" (compared to others) made me spring for it.

It's also on Amazon.de @ https://smile.amazon.de/DRIPSTER-Coffee-Tassen-Dripper-Kaffee/dp/B01F5YKCV2/ (not sure about elsewhere in EU, but Amazon seems to be good about shipping elsewhere in Europe typically.)

I just checked, and it's on Amazon.co.uk also.

@garrett amazon.de sends to Sweden without VAT/freith, .co.uk costs extra

And it's not gonna get better with the #brexitards.
