I think the best way for me personally to get into Mastodon is to cross-post from Twitter, for now at least. If you follow me there too, I can see how that would be annoying so feel free to dump me either here or there.

@DamienOwens I've thought so to, at the beginning, but after a couple of days I found that I feel really uncomfortable writing the same things here and there. My tweets seem painfully angry here, and my toots over there seem simple and naive.

It's a matter of getting to know your imagined audience, I guess.

@DamienOwens how are you cross posting at the moment? are there any simple tools to do this as I was thinking of the same until Mastodon gets a bit more traction
