Killian@accelerando tbh i think whatever devices you invent from whole cloth out of inexperience would be more interesting than what an experienced author could employ, through virtue of originality alone
@ammodendri the support is appreciated but i dont even know how to start writing and get too anxious to continue every time i put stuff to paper, and my ideas all leave me in the process. and reinventing the wheel takes a very long time
@accelerando well, like everything else, it's a learning process, maybe start by tackling smaller stories in your worlds before moving onto the bigger epics
