@quad or maybe you can help me out, I tried setting up Mastodon on my own server but I couldn't access the site on anything else than port :3000, SSL didn't work, and email couldn't be sent

Aside from that, the installation process ran fine so I guess I still got pretty far, it'd be sad to give up now but meh

@Elucidating @quad I don't really care ? Whatever the reason is, even if the instance has some genuine nazis or criminals in it I don't really care, what I want to see is the post from someone on that instance

If I have a problem with some nazi on an instance I'll block him myself, I don't want my whole instance to block every toots from his instance just because of 2 or 3 users

@Shookaite @quad I guess you are gonna have to run your own. It's interesting of the system that you can become a member of the tier of users that makes such decisions.
