me and printer want to remove passivation from some ICs. the obvious solution is HF, but, unfortunately, our chemicals supplier only has it packaged in five point five liter canisters ($30 each, natch)

that's the same one that is willing to sell me "no less than three kilograms of bromine, pickup only" if you're wondering
@whitequark I think somebody mentioned dental diluted HF gel on one of the hacker cons. I don't decap so I have no hands on experience with it.
@whitequark have you considered neutralizing it with cesium hydroxide? :P

@whitequark soda ash and pH strips should give you an idea.
that and a lot of water after neuraising it.

and do it late at night where you don't livor something, not that I've ever done that, no sir, what do you mean officer etc.
