@Michael_Spencer glad to know you agree. i never find Quora boring and since I am a fairly curious person I always find myself asking questions and mostly reading people's answers.
There could be a bunch of people who secretly hope Mastodon doesn't turn into jus another digital universe full of meaningless utterance. I am one of them.
@janet_val That we hope so much for Mastodon says more about the poverty of other digital channels. But it has some potential to be inspirational at the intersection of educational, I'm hoping.
Quora is indeed like a lifetime of education at the intersection of micro-dialogue. So long as i'm swallowed up in text I'm happy. I can bear to live with odd avatars, if that's the worst visual pollution I must live with. The occasional gif is also okay, :smirk:
