@dirb That, I'm not sure of. But if you ask on the jb irc channel, I'm sure you'll get the info you need. I know a couple of the guys there really like matrix
@architect thanks! I found it at #jupiterbroadcasting:matrix.org, it's just that matrix.org has so many rooms that the search is pretty slow, I have been using matrix recently and I really like it, the only down side is that the desktop app is an electron app 😕

@Pinguinguy @dirb mostly because it's making a web browser behave like something it isn't. It's great for web developers to be able to quickly deploy working programs on any platform, but they're also generally horrifically inefficient compared to a native program. For many people with lower end hardware, or frequently have demanding workloads, the electron applications have unacceptable overhead.
