I've been playing through Dark Souls II for the first time. I don't dislike the game, but it is missing _something_ that made the first Dark Souls game so engrossing. It isn't bad, its just not as good.

Also, I'm not sure if I GOT GUD or if the second game is easier than the first.

I think I'm about halfway through, hoping to beat it here soon.

@samurailink3 If your playing on the PC the sloppy console port could be the reason. If you're on a console then my apologies for this toot

@Ursa It is the PC port, but Scholar of the First Sin. I'm not sure if that's been cleaned up compared to the original release.

@samurailink3 dark souls 2 is the weakest of the series. bloodborne and dark souls 3 are way better.

@ssc Thank god. I'm planning on getting Dark Souls 3 as soon as I've finished this one. Bloodborne looks amazing, but I don't have a PS4 currently.
