The only problem of this, of course, is that there is huge potential for many impostor accounts. :( But the cool thing is the real JK Rowling can potentially have her own Pottermore instance for example and the REAL JK Rowling could be @[email protected]! *nodnods*

@jk_rowling I really like the potential Mastadon has for communities to keep that tighter knit feeling of a small group with the same interests while still allowing users to interact with the whole network of other communities at large! And the whole "self-verification" aspect of it seems really neat! I'll admit I got excited to see your handle on here as a casual Harry Potter fan myself. XD According to Pottemore, I'm a Slytherin!
