What's your opinion about #couchsurfing and #flatsharing, and it's plattforms?
(I'm talking about sharing not rbnb or similiar ;-)

What is your experience?

@paulfree14 While couchsurfing encouraged exchange and getting to know strangers, this so called sharing economy replaces what has been given freely with a product. And if you exchange goods for money there is no possibility for the creation of human relationships.

So I think it is just another realm where capitalism has exploited another common good.

@ckeen @paulfree14 This is an amazing discovery, I never knew the relationships I have with the people who provide me with, and whom I provide with, goods and services weren't human relationships.

@rockthrower @paulfree14 I am no sure whether that's an ironic or sarcastic statement.

The thing is if you are paying money for goods or services the one providing you with the thing is becoming totally replaceable. If someone is replaceable who can you build up a relationship? In private relationships evolve around favours you give to each other in times of need.

Am I making sense?

@ckeen @paulfree14 No. You are using very narrow definitions and then saying one thing precludes the other. I get that you believe that, I just disagree.
@rockthrower @paulfree14 I am interested in your point of view.
