@Baseball I think your instance is pretty young. I haven't seen many people on .network yet.

OTOH, I don't think anyone else is using the "baseball" handle on any server, so there's that, too.

Can the same handle name on different server? I didn't know that. It makes sense that I could get this account!

@Baseball Also, FYI mastodon.network has 2,500 users. Mastodon.Social was sitting around 40,000 when they closed registrations.

2-3k is the average for the regular nodes.

@ajroach42 Right. .social was closed when I accessed it. That's why I chose .network.
So, .network is about the average number. Good to know.
