@Frostbeard A large number of people who joined in The Event are french and it became about half and half for a bit.

@Frostbeard A few days ago mastodon went from about 20,000 users total to almost 100k, you are part of The Event if you just joined.
@inmysocks Makes sense. I imagine there will be more Events in the future then. Happens all the time with these platforms. Digg2.0 -> Reddit for example.
