I'm probably switching from mastodon.social to another instance later, since the performance on this "main" instance has been going downhill lately.

There's no easy way to do this, you need to re-bootstrap your social graph.

@jamuraa Yeah, I have been delaying for that very same reason. I think I am just going to ride out the growing pains on .social.

@jamuraa That's a bummer. I do think most instances let you export/import your followers from the settings tab. I've been enjoying mastodon.cloud, if you're looking for recommendations.

@jamuraa you can use the export csv under your settings, which will then import it over to your new instance.
