@Ludonaut I think so, and it means they won't be able to follow the accounts of anyone you boost (through you, at least).
@Ludonaut The claim is that they help instances federate, but nobody who made them stopped to think "hey, maybe this might feel invasive as shit, and might have problems when it interacts with other aspects of Mastodon type code, and might... Not be the good idea I thought it was?"

@Ludonaut The more bots that follow you, the more instances your toots will show up on. It's all part of the federation propagation. (That sounds sillier than it actually is.)
