Here's a thought experiment:

Imagine you could silently scan the RAM, disk and I/O channels of millions of corporate servers -the majority of corporate records, in fact. Any encryption, you could bypass by simply grabbing the clear text in a RAM buffer before/after it was encrypted. The server administrators would have no way of telling if or when you were doing this.

Oh, you're also backed by the CIA. Would you use your eavesdropping power for evil?
